The poetry of Glen Phillips  - 24th Nov '07.

The wonderful West Australian ambassador Glen Phillips, takes us on a lyrical and atmospheric walk through a place he knows intimately.

His acknowledgement and knowledge of place; of traditional owners and empathetic discriptions without sounding patronising, can only be applauded.

He presented a wide open Wheatbelt paddock of poetry for the world to experience and wonder at the beauty of Western Australia as seen through the eyes of one whose love oozes out of every grain.

Ron Sims produced a seamless marriage of interview, background, sensitive poetic readings by three voices including Glen's, complimented by Dave Le May's dramatic soundscape.

Thanks once again, Poetica, for another gem of poetry and giving voice to those we certainly don't hear enough!
