BETWEEN 2005 & 2008 POETS CORNER was held on the 3rd Saturday of each month at Pages Cafe in the State Library, Alexander Building in the Cultural Centre of Perth, Western
Australia, for three years. The last event was held in October 2008.

2003: 'Hidden Capacity ~ a poets journey' a book of poetry published in Cork, Ireland.

2005 to 2008: Frances initiated and hosted Poets Corner @ Pages Cafe in the State Library, Perth Cultural Centre with more than 80 emerging or established poets. Her own poetry was performed, published in print and on the web, but also filmed as part of Books WA programs for a local TV channel.
As mentioned she also spent a large part of 2005 & 2006 organising the WA Spring Poetry Festivals on a zero-budget. This included book launches, reading and performance events but also Frances co-edited & produced two issues of 'The Word Is Out' magzine as a committee member of WA Poets.
ISSUE 1 documented the '05 WA Spring Poetry Festival and included many of articles, reports and photographs concerning the festival taken by Frances. 
ISSUE 2 showcased poetry from participating poets & included Frances' poems 'Sleep' and 'On Being Upwardly Mobile'
WASPF 2006: A Special Poets Corner, Forrest Place reading Poetry Trees Aloud,
reading at the official launch of Issue 2 of 'The Word Is Out' , and a paid reader
at Spearwood Library with Melbourne's Michael Farrell & local poet Lily Chan.

2006: Frances published an anthology to thank the participating poets of Pages Cafe '05 and was honoured with an appointment a member of the ArtsWA Peer Assessment Panel in 2006.
2006: 'Sun and Sleet' anthology - Poets Union, p65: 2 poems 'Dieback' & 'Live here on Sky'
WASpring Poetry Festival 2007: Poets Corner hosted by Glen Phillips for National Poetry Week.
WASpring Poetry Festival 2008, Poets Corner featured Mike Ladd from ABC Radio & Open Mic. Frances was the representative NPW visiting poet at Ocean Reef High School for 3 weeks.
2008: My poem 'desertification' appeared in the Fellowship Of Australian Writers WA Anthology of short stories & poems'Lines in the Sand' published in Nov 2008.
The 'Lines in the Sand' anthology was showcased in August at Poets Corner with many contributors reading their work.
2009: indigo journal VOL 3 of West Australian Writing 2009; p88: 'My Life as a Sari'. Also included on p81, a reference to Frances' previously published poem 'desertification' (FAWWA above) which inspired Maria Douglas to write her own version also entitled 'desertification' published in INDIGO JOURNAL VOL3
2009: Frances was asked by John Kinsella to read her poem at the launch
of his book 'Shades of the Sublime and Beautiful' at the UWA Bookshop.
This poem also inspired Marlia Douglas to pen her own version
2010: "Dodecahedron' Poets Union Anthology 2010 included 2 poems on pages 60 & 61. 'My Life As A Sari' (1st pub 2009 Indigo Journal Vol3) and 'Desertification' (1st pub 2008 'Lines in the Sand' FAWWA Anthology of WA Writing.)
2011: 'In Their Cups' the Tea, Coffee and Wine anthology for MPU will include my poem 'Bar of Grief' (1st pub in 2003 'Hidden Capacity')
